Updates Eternal Networks DarkRP v2.1
Hello everyone!
I’m excited to announce that with this major update, the server is officially leaving its beta phase! 🥳
This update includes everything I originally outlined and even more marking the completion of the roadmap I began over a year ago.
Based on that roadmap, we were already about 95% complete after the last update and while there was already plenty of content to play and enjoy, this final update focuses on polishing, optimizing, and going that final stretch to make the server the best it’s ever been. Now, we’ve officially hit 100%!
Since launch, I’ve shared that roadmap with the community to outline upcoming updates and future content. Not only did I follow it closely, but I also added new ideas and improvements along the way. That journey is now complete!
After the player drop-off following last year’s Halloween update, I continued to release new content, including the Battle Pass, Christmas update, and the Illegal Firework Maker job an idea suggested by a donator. However, with fewer players active and increasingly more irl responsibilities calling for attention, I decided to take a break.
Since then, I’ve been working on this final beta-closing update intermittently, just for fun and to wrap things up properly and now, it’s finally here!

Player UI Menu: ✨
- Player UI Menu Added: I wanted to design a new player menu that truly matched the server’s style, so I started by creating concept art beforehand. My inspiration came from dark, grunge artwork something that felt gritty and immersive, just like the rest of the server’s vibe.
I began with the info section, which displays player details such as name, job, and rank ect. I built it modularly in code so each part could be easily expanded later. The concept came together quickly and I’m really proud of how it turned out. It only took me a few hours (only for the concept art, the coding took way longer lol) to draw everything out, but the final result perfectly captures the aesthetic I was going for.


- Level + Prestige Banner: I wanted to sneak a little easter egg 🐰 into the new player UI, and thought that customizing the level banner would be a fun and unique touch. The idea was to give higher-level players a distinct visual flair, something that sets them apart and feels rewarding.
It’s technically an easter egg because, let’s be honest, I don’t expect anyone to reach those higher levels anytime soon… but hey, you never know! 😄

E - Interact Menu: 🤏
- As you’ve probably noticed yep, it’s finally here too! 🤩
You can now use the E key to interact with other players directly!
- Current Options:
- Invite to Party
- Request to Join Party
- Leave Party
- Invite to Faction
- Offer to Trade
- Give Money
- One big QOL improvement is how party invites now work as soon as you invite another player, a party is automatically created. It’s a small change, but it makes the gameplay feel much snappier and more responsive overall.
- And of course, I couldn’t stop there we have to have the best! 😎
- In the F4 menu, you might remember the Deathcards system that shows when you kill other players. It's a fun idea, but not many people took advantage of it. So, I decided to give it new life by integrating player cards directly into the new E-Menu!
- Now, you can save up, and work towards a collection of your favorite cards that will be seen more often! I even searched through popular COD player cards and found some unique gifs that I reworked to fit the servers vibe complete with our little trademark :3
It took a while, but the end result feels totally worth it :P

!CC Menu Revamp: 🔮
- CC Menu: The !cc menu is one of the most important features for players who own a Custom Class. It gives you access to the custom player model loader, allowing you to browse the Workshop and apply any model (as long as it’s under the size limit and doesn’t disrupt the server).
- While the old menu worked fine, I wanted to bring it up to the same quality standard as the rest of the UI updates and that’s exactly what I did.
- Favorite Saving: A highly requested feature since the original !cc loader release. You can now save your favorite models for quick access later!

- Streamlined Interface: The menu has been slightly expanded for better readability, with simplified options, added sliders, and helpful tooltips to make everything clearer and easier to use.
- The model size limit now scales with your rank:

- Eternal: 100 MB
- This keeps things optimized without feeling limiting, while rewarding higher ranks with more freedom and flexibility.

Boosters: 🚀
- Booster Functionality:
- If you hover over your boost now you will recieve more information!
- Boosters are saved even if you leave the server, however the time will continue to count down!
- Boost Price Reduction: $4m → $2m
- Masks Boosts 👺: Currently the rarest items on the server are the Masks, if you dont know what the masks are they drop from the boss event that occurs every 4 hours on the server. Theres only a small chance to recieve the mask directly at 1% drop rate, or throught the Sealed Boss Box I-V. Now this was a cool collectible that some players apprieciated to go for however once they got 1 mask they didnt have the motivation to continue chasing for more masks since they were just a collectible. So now I gave them all a unique boost that is active while wearing the mask! The masks aren’t overpowered or PVP related they just give fun, unique bonuses and effects to make your gameplay feel more rewarding for obtaining such a rare item, and some can benefit you with the boss event, or halloween event :) 🎭
- For a limited time, you’ll have the chance to buy the masks through the Halloween Event NPC. 🎃

- New Cosmetic Item category "Aura":
- This was an idea I’ve wanted to incorporate for a long time, and I finally figured out how to implement it efficiently within the server’s cosmetic addon system.

Official Launch: ⚔️
- For the official release, all players will keep their:
- Levels
- Money
- Credits
- Permanent items and cosmetics
- However, for custom classes obtained during beta:
- You will still own your class and have access to the !cc player model loader.
- All weapons assigned to those classes will be wiped for balance reasons.
- The EMP Grenade will remain available.
Store: 📢
- With the official release, I’m making a few adjustments to help support the long-term operational costs of the servers and website while also rewarding our loyal beta players.
While some of you already expected this all rank packages in the store will see a ~25% price increase moving forward. However, anyone who already purchased a rank during beta can still upgrade to the next tier at a discounted price! Remember ranks will benefit from updates like access to !bank, cc favorite slots and increased cc model size limits!
To celebrate the official launch, I’m putting all rank packages and store items on sale for 25% off during the first 30 days after release!
This means rank packages will temporarily return to their original beta pricing, and the rest of the store will be heavily discounted for a limited time. In other words, players who supported the server during the beta effectively received a 25% discount!

- Advertising a GMod server isn’t easy there isn’t really a single official place where most players go to discover servers but I’ve been doing my best to get our name out there. To help with that, I’ve also created an official Twitter (X) page where we’ll be posting clips, updates, and announcements:
- This is going to be a community effort, so word of mouth and player clips will make a huge difference!
If you have funny moments, PvP clips, or cool highlights, share them in the Discord! I’ll feature them on Twitter (and maybe even on TikTok soon 👀).
BlackJack: 🃏
- Blackjack has been added. You can acess it through the casino job or at the warehouse in spawn :)

Battlepass Revamp: 🃏
- The battle pass has been revamped, previously, you could only claim one reward per day after completing three quests. Now, each quest you complete grants its own reward, effectively increasing your potential to earn up to three rewards per day.
- You can also now use the Refresh button at the top to reroll your quests allowing you to continue progressing through the Battle Pass beyond the daily limit, as long as you have enough credits saved up!
- Additionally, the Season 3 Battle Pass has been restarted, since no one had progressed during its initial release, giving everyone a fresh start to jump back in and earn new rewards.

PVE: 👾
- Minions: Spawn rate and count now are dynamically based off players. Can be determined by ★ next to minion
- ★ → 4 Players: +3 total minions, respawn timers reduced by 5 minutes
- ★★ → 8 Players: +6 total minions, respawn timers reduced by 5 minutes
- ★★★ → 12 Players: +9 total minions, respawn timers reduced by 10 minutes
- Minions targeting has also been improved to make the gameplay more challenging and fun! I reduced the fireball damage as a result in increased accuracy.
- Boss: A new damage meter has been implemented to accurately display your damage output during the boss fight! It also shows the loot drop tier you currently in and compares your performance against other players in real time. 😎

Inventory & Items: 💼
- As the server has grown, the common, rare, and unique item rarities originally served as stepping stones useful for defending your base or fighting players until you obtained better weapons.
However, as new content and higher-tier items were added, these older items gradually lost their purpose.
- To restore their value and give players more ways to earn credits toward new items, you can now sell them directly for credits!
- Not only that you can now view your credits directly from the inventory menu.
- Added a new command for donator ranks to access their bank anywhere on the map using !bank command
- Also the quantity box now auto-fills to 1 by default, and you can use your scroll wheel to quickly adjust the amount you want to sell. This makes selling items faster and more intuitive than ever.

Staff: 🛡️
- The staff system has been updated with improved quick-access tools for common moderation commands, making it faster and easier to manage situations in-game, access through tab menu.
- New Rank: Moderator+ has also been added granting access to a few unique commands and serving as a recognition for loyal and long-time staff members who have consistently supported the server.
- Rank Adjustments: All current staff members have been promoted.
